Attorneys

Maria G. Galindo was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She obtained a double major in Political Science and French at the University of California, Berkeley. Ms. Galindo also is fluent in Spanish. She received her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of Judith S. Leland, Ms. Galindo was a law clerk for Bet Tzedek Legal Services, a non profit organization providing free legal services. While at Bet Tzedek, she worked on Social Security issues, advised and represented clients. In her free time, Ms. Galindo actively participates in a number of volunteer activities, including the Van Nuys Self Help Center. This center is a resource center providing free legal help with various legal issues, including family law matters.
