Covid Long Holler Alliance

Hello Long COVID Alliance Partners,

Thanks to your dedication and advocacy efforts, the COVID-19 Long Haulers Act (H.R. 2754) was formally introduced before Congress!

The legislation was first announced during Long COVID & ME/CFS Advocacy Week by Representatives Don Beyer (D-VA) and Jack Bergman (R-MI) at a bipartisan press conference.

H.R.2754: To authorize the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Trust Fund to fund research of the symptoms of COVID-19, and for other purposes (the COVID-19 Long Haulers Act) will:

1) accelerate Long COVID research through data harmonization,

2) identify health care strategies that help mitigate disparities and ensure equity in diagnosis and access to post-infectious treatments, and

3) help educate Long COVID patients and medical providers around symptoms, treatments, management, and related post-viral illnesses.
